World Rivers Day - celebration at Abington Woods

 

World Rivers Day is celebrated around the world on a Sunday late in September.

 

Abington Naturewatch Group and Abington Woods Outdoor Learning Centre would like to invite you to an afternoon of activities in the woodland and along the edge of the River
Granta.

 

An action-packed day is planned – to include such things as identification of birds and trees, sampling river life, art and photo exhibition, music and storytelling.

Family camping will be available on the site that weekend.

Refreshments will be available.
